We are proud to congratulate Dr. Brian Kolski, Director of the Cardiovascular Comprehensive Program at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, on receiving the South Division Philanthropy Physician Champion Award from the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation.
In this video, Dr. Kolski shares a bit about who he is, both as a physician and a person. Coming from a family of doctors, he found medicine to be a natural calling, one that he finds deeply fulfilling. He speaks about the rewarding nature of his work, particularly caring for patients during emergencies like acute heart attacks, as well as performing elective cardiac procedures such as valve replacements and repairs. What means most to him, he says, is diagnosing a problem, fixing it, and then seeing those same patients thriving a decade later.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Kolski is a music lover, beach enthusiast, and dedicated family man who has called Orange County home for over 11 years. He closes by expressing heartfelt gratitude for the recognition and for the Foundation’s partnership, noting that the shared vision between his team and St. Joseph’s leadership is something he is extremely proud to be part of.
